G'Damn !!!!!! This is gonna be a rant! Get ready............ put the kids to bed !
Between Chrome crashing every 3 seconds, Time Warner Connectivity issues and my latest experience with LastFM I'm about to explode.....
And really?? Am I allowed too?
No...... not really. Outside of Time Warner, the payment for services like Chrome and LastFM is neglible. But they've come under the gun just like the paid services b/c of their reliability.
It is frustrating when free services crash, or don't operate the way they should..... what a g'dman nightmare!!
But sh*t LastFM i've been your fan since day 1. How come you're gonna make it so difficult for me to buy music off your site. You know why Apple makes some money of iTunes ???? Guess !!!! Here's the ANSWER : Cause it's easy! I just click "buy" and their pockets are .99 cents richer.
But your service (the one strugglin' for a business model) can't seem to pull together enough developers to make the simple process of purchasing a track off your site.... just that : SIMPLE !!
Moving on.....
I"m an Google Apps customer, but my regular free gmail account gives me the attached image all of the f'ing time !
Google.... please charge me up to 5 times the amount of what your charging me now.... However, when you charge me these fees please ensure that you will have uptime stats north of 90%.
I rely on email to do my business. Please charge me more for my email, so you can guarntee my uptime.
Same thing with TimeWarner... please charge me an extra $50 / mo, but please guarntee that I won't have to reboot my modem 8 times a day you d-bags !!! G'Damn.... I get tired or pulliing out that f'ing AC adpater of that stupid Cisco router.
And you know what Time Warner ?? Cisco wouldn't be too stoked to learn the fact that your techs blame the connnection problems on the Cisco Modem and not Time Warner's crappy service - D Bag's !
Everyone.... who sells something.... please adhere to this new axiom :
Sell something based on it's "Performance" not on it's "Promise" or "Hype" or "Percieved Value"
Imagine a cell phone plan where you were charged for your "Call Quality" or # of Dropped Calls instead of minutes used.
The carriers would freak ! But they won't..... cause unless we revolt, they have no reason to change their pricing polices.
