Chophouse ???

I'm not an intellectual,  but I rarely watch TV.  Most of my time is spent on the web. if I do watch TV... it's baseball, FuelTV or Entourage for me.   Anyway,  as I switched the channel to watch Entourage  tonight I happened to come across this show "Chophouse"  Really ?  Really ?   A reality series that has intense "Survivor" type drama about cooking.  Really ? Really ?  Has TV seriously been reduced to this ?   Shows about who can cook the best meal ?  Really ?  I'm not taking anything away from the art of being a chef,  but do they have to create a show with so much "superficial"  drama about something as undramatic as cooking ?  

I'm just saying.
